The lawn in front of the Sanctuary is filled with brightly colored Easter eggs for the younger members of the Fellowship.

Earth Day Celebration

Our special intergenerational worship services are dedicated to celebrating Earth and our place in the interdependent web of life through words, ritual, and music.

Memorial Day Potluck/Bonfire/Camp Out

May: Memorial Day Weekend, Sunday Evening through Monday Morning
Enjoy a potluck and a bonfire and pitch your tents or park your RVs right on the grounds. Great family fun!

Congregational Meeting and Election

Held in May or June after Second Service
Presentation of the budget for the following year and election of officers, plus other congregational business. All voting members are urged to attend.

A pot-luck dinner and solstice ritual that marks the longest day of the year.

Locavore Potluck

How far does your food travel from field to plate? Our meal is composed of fruits, veggies and eggs from backyard gardens and local farmers markets to illustrate how eating “local” reduces fuel consumption and the use of toxic agrochemicals.

Transylvanian Potluck Luncheon

Transylvania was the birthplace of the Unitarian Church. Although today the Church in Romania is quite different from PUUF in many ways, we share the same basic roots.  PUUF has a sister church relationship with the congregation in Arkos, Romania, and every year we raise money to support their work. Recipes for Romanian dishes are provided for creative cooks.

Come in costume, join the fun with food, games and dancing.

Service Auction and Dinner

This lively spaghetti dinner event is our biggest fund-raising activity. Members provide services or invitations to social events, along with treasures from the attic, for bidding. In addition, the Craft Guild’s annual quilt is raffled off. Your participation is an enjoyable way to support our general fund.

Heifer International Fundraiser

Heifer International is a development organization that provides income-generating livestock and sustainable farming education to hungry families around the world. Every year for several years PUUF members have donated generously to filling an Ark, a $5000 gift that provides animals for about 30 families.

Thanksgiving Dinner

Join us for are Fellowship Thanksgiving potluck and enjoy great food and the company of wonderful people as we give thanks.

A potluck meal, party games, and the countdown to the New Year - New York time.

  • Guest At Your Table: Through this special fund raising tradition, UU communities celebrate the worth and dignity of all people and learn how to put these values into action.
  • Promise the Children: a response to a national human rights crisis: the burgeoning number of children growing up in poverty in the U.S.
